Gary Roberts Leads Team that Secures $25 Million Dollar Verdict for the Estate of Gregory Faull
Gary Roberts of Gary Roberts & Associates secured a $25 million verdict in the matter of the Estate of Gregory Faull v. John McAfee. The verdict consisted of estate costs of $8,000, $5 million in compensatory damages for the single surviving daughter of Gregory V. Faull and an additional punitive damages award of $20 million for Mr. Faull’s estate against John McAfee. Mr. McAfee recently announced that he is running for President in 2020. He launched his campaign from a boat near the Exuma district of the Bahamas.
Mr. Roberts was the lead counsel from the time the matter was filed in 2013 after Gregory Faull’s November 2012 torture and murder in Belize. He was joined by Orlando lawyers David King and Fritz Wermuth of King, Blackwell, Zehnder & Wermuth, P.A. for the January 10, 2019 full day of damages trial and by Jacksonville appellate lawyer John Mills of The Mills Firm for the subsequent appeal to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta that reversed the trial judge, Gregory A. Presnell, of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
