Pee Scams, Kickbacks, And Overdoses Plague South Florida Rehabs
This week, Buzzfeed published a story about Nicole Cronin, a young New Jersey woman who came to South Florida for treatment for her heroin addiction and died within a year, alone in a motel room. Unfortunately, Nicole Cronin’s story is not unique in the world of treating addiction. The Cronin family is brave to bring her story to light so that other families of addicts can understand that substance abuse treatment centers and halfway houses need to be thoroughly researched and vetted before sending their loved ones off for help.
